I have about a gig worth of custom data in MariaDb in a docker container on a Linux server. I just wanted to do a simple backup of a database that I have been manually entering data for about 6 months now.
I first tried in DBeaver and I keep getting an error but cannot figure out why.
1. Database > Tasks > Create new task...
2. MySQL dump
3. After executing the task, I get error.
I could not find more details on the error, so I just went to HeidiSql to perform a backup because I had successfully done so in the past. I thought maybe there was a data issue.
1. Right click on the server name
2. Export database as SQL
3. Click checkbox to select all databases
4. Output: Single .sql file
5. Filename: [location to put the file]
6. After a few minutes, it completed just under 1G of data.
